WHAT'S HAPPENING at Grundisburgh Village Hall
Over the two days of concerts, the choirs attracted audiences of over 200 people who enjoyed listening to a selection of popular festive and non-festive songs. These included “O Holy Night”, “It’s beginning to look like Christmas”, “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” and many more! Props such as artificial snowballs and kazoos certainly added comedy!
The hall looked stunning, adorned with fairy lights, with all the tables beautifully decorated with festive covers, floral arrangements and LED candles. The audiences also enjoyed the array of festive treats provided and there were fabulous hamper prizes, raising more vital funds for our charities of choice.
A large proportion of the money is going to FIND (Families in need), but a donation is also going into the Grundisburgh Village Hall Community Fund. The Community Fund exists to support and encourage wide use of the village hall and to contribute to, or pay for, equipment needed to support activities in the hall which benefit the community. The fund also exists to help hirers with altruistic objectives to benefit the community.
Both Upbeat! and Offbeat! choirs rehearse weekly in the spacious village hall. Its modern, airy design means that concert layouts can be very flexible and tailor-made for every event.
Upbeat! Ladies and Offbeat! Men’s choirs held their Christmas concerts on 2nd and 3rd December 2022, in the fabulous Grundisburgh Village Hall, to raise funds for charity.

SUMMER CHARITY
CONCERT
July 2022
The Ipswich Gilbert & Sullivan Society were delighted to perform a Summer charity concert here at the Grundisburgh New Village Hall. "What a brilliant venue to sing at! Well ventilated, beautifully lit, plenty of space for a generous audience, and all at an extremely reasonable hire price. The booking process was seamless and the facilities were ideal - we were able to serve afternoon tea during the interval and the local turn out thoroughly enjoyed it. We were able to raise over £500 and it has been agreed that this will be one of our regular concert venues!"
